Complaints and Compliments

How can you lodge a health-related complaint, and how will the complaint be handled at our practice?

We take complaints and concerns very seriously. You should express any concerns you may have to our staff and/or the Practice Manager directly whilst you are in the practice or you can submit your complaint or concern in writing. We will then attempt to resolve it in accordance with our resolution procedure.  Please address all correspondence to:

Should you wish to lodge your complaint by e-mail please send to or telephone us on 07 4926 9199.

We will respond to you within 7 days of receiving your complaint and make every effort to resolve as quickly as possible.  You may also contact the Office of the Health Ombudsman (OHO), the Queensland Health Service Complaints Agency.  Generally, the OHO will require you to give them time to investigate and respond.  For further information visit or call the OHO on ​133 OHO (133 646).


How can you lodge a compliment, and how will the compliment be handled at our practice?

We are always pleased to accept compliments from our patients.  You can submit a compliment personally or in writing to the Practice Manager using the address above or by email to

The compliment will be included in our staff meeting so that we can show our appreciation to the staff member/s involved and also capture the information to enable us to make future improvements.
